5 things to be happy about!

Gratitude. *Sigh*...I just love that word. I keep a gratitude journal where I try to write 3-5 things that I'm thankful for each day. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about doing it. On my best days, I'm reminded of how blessed I am. And on my bad days, it gives me a reality check. It reminds me to enjoy the simple things in life. It pushes me to see the good and beauty even in seemingly bad moments. 

I don't know about you, but sometimes I can find Mondays to be challenging. I struggle out of bed and jumping back into a routine. Mondays always seem to drag on, so I tend to find it the best day to jump start my week and focus extra hard on being grateful.  Each Monday, I'm going to reflect on the past week and post some things that I'm thankful you. I'd love to hear what you are grateful for as well!

1. Summer is so close, I can taste it!
2. Sipping lemonade on the porch
3. Kindhearted emails
4. The sound of children laughing
5. Being proud of an accomplishment
