Ch, Ch, Changes

So my blog is different, a lot different. I’d love to tell you that I had a change of heart and that I wanted my blog to reflect that change. But the truth is, I didn’t have a change of heart at all. In fact, I don’t think my blog ever really got down to the heart of the matter, so I decided to change it. I thought long and hard before I made this decision because I know branding is incredibly important when owning a business. But I knew it was time to go in the direction of my heart and that branding would meet me there.

So I took a leap of faith because you only live once, right? It is still very pink and green, which is 100% me, but I’ve decided to take it in a different direction. I don’t have an exact game plan nor do I have a set goal in mind, but I knew this new blog would reflect more of my true self.

I haven’t blogged a lot in the past year for various reasons, but when it came down to it, I wasn’t in love with my blog. I told my friend Kate while we were attending Blissdom that I felt like I was treating my blog as if I was renting an apartment rather than making it my home. So consider this my welcome home party where you are all invited to attend!

I want to use my blog as a place to encourage others to:

dream,

inspire,

believe in themselves,

take leaps of faith,

be kinder,

find their true colors,

take risks,

and leave the world a little better than they found it.
