Follow Your Heart

The dream project is officially underway. My inbox is bulging with emails of all the love y'all are spreading. In fact, I'll even admit I had forgotten that I came up with a hashtag to use with this project on twitter. However, when I discover that people we're using it; it brought tears to my eyes. I got an email from a young girl that told me she didn't feel brave most of the time so setting out in faith and encouraging others was out of her comfort zone. But she did it anyways because she knew her words could brighten up someone else's day. That's exactly the heart of this project; its about somebody else besides yourself.

I have found myself lately wondering what direction my life is heading in and thinking about what my purpose is here on earth. While I can't predict the future, I can certainly aid it by taking small steps forward each day. I think we live in a culture that tells us in many ways how to life the best life possible. But at the end of the day, it really comes down to following your heart. I have found that even  when its difficult, scary, nerve wrecking; that following your heart always pays off. It always leads you to where you were meant to end up. So perhaps you find yourself today at the edge of a cliff scared to take a leap of faith. Just do it! Trust me, you'll grow your wings on the way down.

How will YOU follow your heart today?

  2. I'll make some time to work on my blog and design some ideas that have been floating around in my head. You and your blog are so inspirational, by the way. I think I'll have to start spreading the word of chasing big dreams more. Encouraging other is one of the best things you can do! :D

  3. I had a kid show me 4 more big dream quotes today....just because she wanted to make more. She has been putting them in the library books at school. Glad they are supporting your idea.

  5. I've just been reading up on your dream project and I LOVE it! I am a huge advocate of writing notes to others as well, and of speaking words of encouragement--never holding back a complement. I love what you are doing, and I'd love for you to write up a guest post if you are interested for my blog...talking about it. I love handwritten notes because it is something people can hold on to, and look back on, and be reminded that they are loved when times are low. I also think that if you are going to take the time to write a note, to be intentional, make it meaningful and not generice. Just wanted to ssay I love this!

  6. I love this idea! I am constantly trying to chase my dreams! Life is just too short that you can't afford to waste time and only do things that people expect of you. I want to share this with others and spread the love!! :)
