Meet Jillian Jensen: She is adorable 19 year old who has been bullied quite a bit in her lifetime. The youtube video is actually 12 minutes but I promise it'll be worth your time. I can't tell you the number of times I watched it and it still makes me get teary-eyed. This video reminds me of what it means to get back up and keep on going. She sings through her hurt, her pain, and the aches of her struggles. And oh my word it is beautiful and painful mixed into one. I would call this her "come back" song. I don't know what she was teased for, but she stood strong in this moment, and chased her dreams despite what anyone might have ever told her.
My favorite part of this video is not just sweet Jillian but also Demi Lovato. If you know anything about Demi, you know that her life didn't turn out the way she expected it. She can relate to Jillian on the bullying part and how it had lasted effects on her and her music career. The fact that Demi is on X Factor is living proof that she got back up after she fell, and came back in stronger.
All this to say, people are going to tell you that you can't do "____________" {fill in the blank with your dream}. There might even be people who tease you for even thinking it's remotely possible for you to chase that dream. But you can do it, really you can. I believe in YOU! Get back up and keep fighting!
My challenge for you today is: Be Brave!

Thank you so so much for sharing this video. I hadn't heard about it, or seen it through any of the websites I visit and this was the first time i've been able to experience this....beautiful and heartbreaking story. She's incredible and i'm so glad that not only was she brave but in so many ways she was redeemed and strengthened. Her light shone.
